Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of performance appraisal and career development on employee performance. Peventif Discipline object as a variable X1, Intrinsic Motivation as an object variable X2 and employee performance as a variable Y. The method used is a method of quantitative and descriptive research design using the design and casual design with the aim of which is to present a picture tersrtuktur, factual and accurate information on the facts, nature, and the relationship between the variables studied and analyzed statistically to be concluded, to test hypotheses based on existing data. The samples used in this study as many as 56 of the total population of 125 employees. From the results of calculations using SPSS 20 software, all the classical assumptions are met and the results for the value of R = 0.612 So the relationship between the variables X1 and X2 simultaneously to variable Y is a good relationship. The coefficient of determination of 0.375 means the ability to explain the independent variable (preventif discipline and intrinsic motivation) on the dependent variable (performance of employees) of 37.5%, while the remaining 62.5% is explained by other factors not examined in this study. While the adjusted R Square of 0.351, meaning donations influence the variables X1 and X2 simultaneously to fluctuations in the variable Y for 35.1% and no other values that influence because it is constant or has been adjusted. Regression equation is obtained Y = 7538 + 0.416X 1 + 0.175X 2 . Keywords: Preventif Discipline, Intrinsic Motivation, Employee Performance
