Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of variables Economic Growth Industrial Sector, Level of Education and Manpower Absorption Against Wage Industry Sector and City District in Banten Province Period of 2006 - 2012. The variable level of education is divided into four variables: education level of elementary school, junior high schools, High School and Higher Education. The analytical method used is the method of linear regression analysis with panel data methods FEM (Fix Effect Model) with the help of software Eviews 8. Results from this study indicate that during the time period 2006-2012 economic growth variable industrial sector, the level of junior high school education, high school education and wage levels have a significant effect on employment and the industrial sector and the elementary education level variable levels of Higher Education does not have a significant effect on industry sector employment. Simultaneously independent variable significant effect on the dependent variable. The coefficient of determination (R2) is known by 0.985940. This shows that amounted to 98.5940% of independent variables in the form of economic growth in the industrial sector, the level of education that includes the level of elementary education, junior high school level, high school level of education and higher education and wages were able to explain the dependent variable is the employment sector in the District and City Banten Province.
