Abstract
Public participation is needed in any development program both physically and socially. Development can not be achieved without the participation of the community. The Government has used the funds for the implementation of development programs but will never be achieved if society is not included in the planning, implementation, evaluation and utilization of development. This research was conducted in the village of Serang Cikeusal Sukaratu the District relating to Public Participation and the successful development of the first aims to determine the level of community participation in village Sukaratu Cikeusal District of Serang, both to determine the physical construction in the Village Sukaratu Cikeusal District of Serang and the third to know influence of public participation in the physical development in the Village Sukaratu Cikeusal District of Serang. The method used is an associative method, which is a study that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables. In this study using sampling techniques in a way Slovin with samples 91 samples. The researchers used techniques in data collection are interviews, observation and questionnaires. The conclusion of this study a significant difference between participation to the success of physical development in the Village District of Cikeusal Sukaratu participation contributed to the success of physical pemangunan by 76.9% while the rest is a factor of age, gender, education and government that is open, responsible and sustainable

| Additional Information: | Partisipasi masyarakat sangat dibutuhkan dalam setiap program pembangunan baik yang bersifat fisik maupun sosial. Pembangunan tidak akan tercapai tanpa adanya partisipasi dari masyarakat. Pemerintah mempunyai dana yang digunakan untuk pelaksanaan program pembangunan tetapi tidak akan pernah terwujud apabila mayarakat tidak diikutsertakan dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi maupun pemanfaatan hasil pembangunan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Sukaratu Kecamatan Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang yang berkaitan dengan Partisipasi Masyarakat dan keberhasilan pembangunan yang bertujuan pertama Untuk mengetahui tingkat partisipasi masyarakat di Desa Sukaratu Kecamatan Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang, kedua Untuk mengetahui pembangunan fisik di Desa Sukaratu Kecamatan Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang dan ketiga Untuk mengetahui pengaruh partisipasi masyarakat terhadap pembangunan fisik di Desa Sukaratu Kecamatan Cikeusal Kabupaten Serang. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode asosiatif, yaitu suatu penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dua variabel atau lebih. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling dengan cara slovin dengan sampel 91 sampel. Adapun teknik yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data adalah wawancara, observasi dan angket. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara partisipasi masyarakat terhadap keberhasilan pembangunan fisik di Desa Sukaratu Kecamatan Cikeusal kontribusi partisipasi masyarakat terhadap keberhasilan pemangunan fisik sebesar 76,9% sedangkan sisanya merupakan faktor usia, jenis kelamin, pendidikan dan pemerintahan yang terbuka, bertanggungjawab dan berkesinambungan | |||||||||
