Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. Pembimbing I : Kandung Sapto Nugroho, S.Sos., M.Si dan Pembimbing II : Drs. Hasuri Waseh, S.E., M.Si. Konservasi sumber daya alam hayati dan ekosistemnya merupakan tanggung jawab dan kewajiban pemerintah serta masyarakat. maka perlu adanya bentuk partisipasi berupa keikutsertaan mulai dari tahap perencanaan, tahap pelaksanaan serta kegiatan mentoring. Namun masih banyak masyarakat yang belum mengetahui rencana pengelolaan Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon. Bahkan sering terjadi konflik antara pemerintah dan masyarakat sekitar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan wilayah konservasi Ujung Kulon. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Partisipasi Keith Devis yang terdiri 3 indikator yaitu keterlibatan mental dan emosi individu, kesediaan memberikan sumbangan, dan tanggung jawab individu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dan sampel yang digunakan adalah 191 sampel berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode Taro Yamane. Untuk menganalisis data menggunakan uji hipotesis atau t-test satu sampel dengan uji pihak kanan dan diperoleh hasil thitung < ttabel (-10,906 < 1,480) maka H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak, serta hasil perhitungannya berada di angka 29% dari prediksi paling tinggi 65%, artinya sangat rendah. Natural resource conservation biodiversity and ecosystem is the responsibility and obligations of government and society, so there are should have the form of participation starting from the design, the implementation stage and activities of all. But there are still many society who do not know management plan of Ujung Kulon National Park. Even happened quite a lot though conflict between the government and the surrounding society. The purpos of this research is to know how high the public participation level in the management of the concervation area of Ujung Kulon National Park. This research used Keith Davis theory which consist of 3 indicators there are the involvement of mental and emotional individual, willingness contributed, and individual responsibility. This research used descriptive quantitative method. The sampling technique used non probability sampling technique and the sample used is 191 samples based on the calculation on uses the Taro Yamane method. To analyzed the data used hypothesis test or one-sample t-test with right-tailed test obtained t-test value < t table (-10,906 <1,480) then H0 accepted and Ha rejected, and the calculation result is 29% from prediction highest 65%, that conclude the public participation is trill very low.
