Abstract

PT. Siemens Indonesia-Cilegon Factory is one of the manufacturing company that manufactures Heavy Condenser. As for that being a focus on research is oneofthe components of the Condensor i.e. Module Condensor, ModuleCondensor isthe largest component on the Condensor. After the observation is done at theWorkshop there are many constraints waste activity as an activity that should becarried out in other divisions or workshop, materials that are not yet ready to beprocessed, the activity setup which is quite time consuming, the machine is oldand needs to be done the turn or additions. The purpose of this research is viewedcomparison value Process Cycle Efficiency and improve or reduce the activitythat caused the production has not been optimal in the Workshop, as well asdesigning simulations to see comparisons between simulation results output fromexisting and proposed conditions are selected. Methods used i.e. leanmanufacturing by carrying out identification and elimination against seven waste,then the mapping was undertaken to find out the right tools by using Value StreamAnalysis Tools. Based on the calculation of the waste workshop obtained thehighest percentage of waste i.e. waiting amounted to 24%. Total time lead timeprocess when the production Module Condensor of 906.9, to reduce the time leadtime needs to be designed using repair tools Process Activity Mapping, BigPicture Mapping, Simulation System, as well as see a comparison between theexisting and proposed conditions are best with Process Cycle Efficiency. Afterthat the simulation model of a proposed surveyors laid out the fix. Based onProcess Cycle Efficiency is obtained an increase production time from 76.11% to81.19%. Proposal of a simulation model of the proposed improvements be chosento optimize the output of 44 units becomes 47 units. Thus there is an increase of 3units Condensor in the Simulation Module Product 1 year.

Additional Information: PT. Siemens Indonesia Cilegon - Factory adalah salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang kini fokus memproduksi Heavy Condensers. Adapun yangmenjadi fokus pada penelitian ini adalah salah satu komponen dari Condensoryaitu Module Condensor yang merupakan komponen terbesar pada Condensor.Setelah dilakukan observasi pada Workshop terdapat banyak kendalapemborosan aktivitas seperti kegiatan yang seharusnya dikerjakan padaworkshop atau divisi lain, material yang belum siap untuk diproses, aktivitassetup yang cukup memakan waktu, mesin yang sudah tua dan perlu dilakukanpergantian atau penambahan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihatperbandingan nilai Process Cycle Efficiency dan memperbaiki atau mereduksiaktivitas yang menyebabkan produksi belum optimal pada Workshop, sertamerancang simulasi untuk melihat perbandingan hasil output dari simulasiantara kondisi eksisting dan usulan yang dipilih. Metode yang digunakanyaitulean manufacturingdengan melakukan identifikasidan eliminasi terhadap sevenwaste, lalu dilakukanlah pemetaan untuk mengetahui tools yang tepat denganmenggunakan Value Stream Analysis Tools. Berdasarkan perhitungan wasteworkshop didapatkan persentase waste yang tertinggi yaitu waiting sebesar 24%.Total waktu lead time process saat produksi Module Condensor sebesar 906.9jam, untuk mengurangi waktu lead time perlu dirancang perbaikan denganmenggunakan tools Process Activity Mapping, Big Picture Mapping, SimulationSystem, serta melihat perbandingan antara kondisi eksisting dan usulan terbaikdengan Process Cycle Efficiency. Setelah itu dirancanglah model simulasi dariusulan perbaikannya. Berdasarkan Process Cycle Efficiency didapatkanpeningkatan waktu produksi dari 76.11% menjadi 81.19%. Usulan simulasi modelke-1 menjadi usulan perbaikan yang dipilih untuk mengoptimalkan output dari 44unit menjadi 47 unit. Dengan demikian terdapat peningkatan 3 unit produkModule Condensor dalam simulasi 1 tahun.
