Abstract
Agricultural extension is the involvement of a person to communicate the information with the aim of helping each other giving an opinion so they can make the right decision. The research aims are: (1) To know characteristic of farmers in Gempol Sari Village, East Sepatan, District Tangerang Regency. (2) To analyze the success rate of extension farm in Gempol Sari Village, East Sepatan Discrit, Tangerang Regency. This research is located in Gempol sari Village, East Sepatan District, Tangerang Regency by using purposive technique with census method. This research uses quantitative method, with descriptive analyze and CIPP model analyze by score. The results showed that characteristic respondent by age is dominant at 31-36 years old. Characteristic respondent by education level is on elementary school level. Characteristic respondent based on their experiece becoming farmers mostly have an experience for 3-9 years. Characteristic respondent by land area is at range of 2000-5000m . Evaluative response of farmers with context, input, process, product indicator. Value of attribute context is 16.38 with percentage 81.9%, value of attribute input is 15.98 with percentage 79.9%, value of attribute process is 13.73 with percentage 68.65%, value of attribute product is 14.94 with percentage 74.4%. The average score of CIPP model achievement in the agricultural extension is 76.29%. It can conclude that the agricultural extension in Gempol sari Village, East Sepatan District, Regency Tangerang is worked.
