Abstract

Agricultural commodities are expected to be a positive move in terms of increased production and revenue is rice. The purpose of this study was to determine how much the cost of production and how much revenue earned by farmers as well as how much the break-even point (BEP) is reached on paddy rice farming and how the level efesisensi paddy rice farming. The method used in this research is survey, the location was done intentionally (purposive) The data used is quantitative data where data in perolah of primary and secondary data. Sampling using Slovin formulas and methods of sampling method (simple random sampling). Methods of data analysis using cost analysis, revenue and income, Break Even Point (BEP) and analysis of R / C Ratio. The result is the average production per growing season is Rp 16.559.856,67 for a flat fee of Rp. 8.482.619,43 and variable costs Rp. 8.077.237,24. Farmers' income is Rp 13.620.323,51. Value breakeven Admission is Rp 11.620.026,62 the value of the break-even production amounted to 2.316,51 kg, the value of the break-even price is Rp 2.743,50/Kg, and a breakeven value of the land area is 3,800 M 2 . Rated R / C ratio of 1,82. Based on these data it can be concluded that Rice Rice in Farmers Mekar Asih village of Tamiang District of Gunung Kaler including farming profitable or said to be efficient. Suggestions to the authors give is to obtain high profits, it is advisable for farmers to increase rice production exceeded the breakeven point (BEP).
