Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find a solution to the problems of low outcomes of mathematics learning. Subject was sixth grade teacher at SDN Lontar 3 Tirtayasa District of Serang. Teacher-centered learning, the low creativity of teachers and students and low outcomes of mathematics learning is the background of this study. Method of Action Research is used as the solution to faced the problems. Actions carried out through three cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 meetings. With used cooperative learning type STAD and Creativity model. This esearchusing observation sheets of the teacher, student activity sheets, and student learning outcomes instrument using the multiple-choice testto collection the data. Application of Cooperative Learning Model STAD and Creativity succeeded in improving learning outcomes through group discussions and awarding individuals and groups and encourage the students' attention and facilitate students to understand the learning material. Criteria for success is the achievement of mastery learning students is not less than 75%. Improving student learning outcomes based on the results of tests on the first cycle, the average values obtained 61.11 into 71.22 on the second cycle or an increase of 10.11%, and from the second cycle to cycle III, amounting to 71.22 to 80, 03, or an increase of 8.81%. The increase in the creativity of the students in the learning process by using STAD model in which fluency, flexibility, originality and detail in the cycle I obtained an average score of 36.30 in the first cycle of the number of students 37 into 61.32 on the second cycle or an increase of 25,02%, while the second cycle to cycle III obtained an average score of 61,32 into 25.00% 86.32 or experience. Then on improving teachers' abilities in using STAD in Math learning process material providing broad flat wake. Based on preliminary data on the ability of teachers of the observations in the first cycle obtained an average score of 88.89, be 97.22 on the second cycle or an increase of 8.33%, from the second cycle to the third cycle, ie 97.22 to 98, 15 or an increase of 8.93%. Thus STAD Cooperative Learning Model and creativity can improve learning outcomes material Mathematics broad flat wake Class VI SDN Lontar 3.

Additional Information:	Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan solusi terhadap permasalahan hasil belajar Matematika yang masih rendah. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas VI dan guru SDN Lontar 3 Kecamatan Tirtayasa Kabupaten Serang. Pembelajaran berpusat pada guru (teacher centered), kreativitas guru dan siswa rendah dan hasil belajar Matematika yang rendah merupakan latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) digunakan sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang dihadapi. Tindakan dilakukan melalui tiga siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 kali pertemuan. Pembelajaran menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dan Kreativitas. Selama pelaksanaan penelitian berlangsung pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi guru, lembar aktivitas siswa, dan instrument hasil belajar siswa menggunakan perangkat tes pilihan ganda. Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dan Kreativitas berhasil meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui kegiatan diskusi kelompok dan pemberian penghargaan individu maupun kelompok serta mendorong perhatian siswa dan mempermudah siswa memahami materi pembelajaran. Kriteria keberhasilan adalah tercapainya ketuntasan belajar siswa tidak kurang dari 75%. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan hasil tes pada siklus I, diperoleh nilai rata-rata 61,11 menjadi 71,22 pada siklus II atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,11%, dan dari siklus II ke siklus III, sebesar 71,22 menjadi 80,03 atau mengalami peningkatan sebesar 8,81%. Peningkatan pada kreativitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model STAD yang di dalamnya kelancaran, keluwesan, keaslian dan kerincian pada siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata 36,30 pada siklus I dari jumlah siswa 37 menjadi 61,32 pada siklus II atau mengalami peningkatan 25,02%, sedangkan siklus II ke siklus III diperoleh rata-rata skor 61,32 menjadi 86,32 atau mengalami 25,00%. Kemudian pada peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menggunakan STAD dalam memberikan proses pembelajaran Matematika materi luas bangun datar. Berdasarkan data awal tentang kemampuan guru dari hasil pengamatan pada siklus I diperoleh rata-rata skor 88,89, menjadi 97,22 pada siklus II atau mengalami peningkatan 8,33%, dari siklus II ke siklus III, yaitu 97,22 menjadi 98,15 atau mengalami peningkatan 8,93%. Dengan demikian Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe STAD dan Kreativitas dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika materi luas bangun datar kelas VI SDN Lontar 3.
