Abstract

This research aims to determine differences in student learning outcomes in subject IPS after using a take and give teaching model in grade 5 Elementary school Fajar Islami Tangerang period 2015/2016. The method used is method of quasi experimental method used while the design is non equivalent control group design. There are two classes in the research, the control group and the experimental group. Control group of student in grade V-1 which consist of 21 students that using direct learning model and the experimental group was grade V�2 given treatment using model take and give. The data collection techniques was conducted on the achievement test was post test consisting of 20 questions and non test in the form of documentation. Based on research result indicated that there are significant difference between the result of student learning to use take and give with the use of direct learning, it can be seen from t-test of two parties is greater than or 3,09 > 1,68 then H0 rejected dan accepted and from t-test right part is greater than or 3,09 > 2,02 then H0 rejected dan accepted. Therefore means that there is influence of model take and give on student learning outcomes in subject IPS. Keywords: Result of The Study IPS , Model Take and Give , Quasi Experimental Method
