Abstract
Background of the research was caused by low result of students’ learning in science. The researcher has done the research and showed that result of students’ learning in science was still low, with average score 36.79. Almost 60 percent students got score under criteria of minimum score, and some others got score upper criteria of minimum score. The one of efforts to solve that problem was used ARIAS model. This research aimed to know the influence of ARIAS toward the result of students’ learning in science. The researcher has done the research in one of elementary schools in Tangerang City. The research method that used by the researcher was quasi experiment with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The researcher also used cluster random sampling with chosen 2 classes as a technique for taking sample. In this research, class V/A as an experiment class, and class V/C as a control class. The conclusion of this research was that ARIAS could influence the result of students’ learning in science. It can be proofed by the result of t-test normal and homogeneous data quantification: score= 3,61 with dk = n1 + n2 – 1.= 33 + 35 – 1 = 67, = 0.05. Got score = 1,996. Two side experiments ,- 1,994 ≤ 3,61 ≤ 1,994, so was declined and was accepted. While, the result of one side experiment > , 3,61 > 1,996 so was accepted. The result of learning science in experiment class was more than control class.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran IPA. Berdasarkan studi pendahuluan yang dilakukan peneliti dan hasil belajar siswa pada hasil semester, hasilnya menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada studi pendahuluan masihlah rendah dengan rata – rata 36,79%, dan tidak lebih dari 40% siswa yang mencapai KKM pada hasil semester. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ARIAS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar siswa IPA. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan disalah satu SD Negeri di Kota Tangerang tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Teknik penarikan sampel yang digunakan ialah cluster random sampling untuk memilih 2 kelas. Pada penelitian ini, kelas V/A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan V/C sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Uji –t data normal dan homogen yaitu : nilai = 3,61 dengan dk = n1 + n2 – 1.= 33 + 35 – 1 = 67, = 0.05 didapatkan nilai = 1,996. Sehingga untuk Uji Dua Pihak ,- 1,994 ≤ 3,61 ≤ 1,994, maka ditolak dan diterima. Sedangkan untuk Uji Satu Pihak didapat hasilnya > , 3,61 > 1,996 maka diterima. Hasil belajar IPA siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada hasil belajar IPA siswa pada kelas kontrol. | |||||||||
