Abstract
The aim of the research was finding out the influence of mind mapping toward result of students’ learning in science on light concept. This research was conducted in SDN Kasemen Serang City academic year 2014/2015. The method of research used quasi experimental with Nonequivalen Control Group Design and the population was all of students in five class. The research sample in SDN Kasemen Serang City was a class VA and VB. Class VA as a experiment class with 35 students and VB as a control class with 35 students. Sampling techniqui with a cluster random sampling. Data was collected by multiple choice tests and inquiry. The conclusion of this research was that mind map could influence the result of students’ learning in science. It can be proofed by the result of t-test normal and homogeneous data quantification: score= 3,51 with dk = n1 + n2 – 2.= 33 + 35 – 2 = 68, = 0.05. Got score = 1,995. Two side experiments ,- 1,995 ≤ 3,51 ≤ 1,995, so was declined and was accepted. While, the result of one side experiment > , 3,51 > 1,667 so was accepted. The result of learning science in experiment class was more than control class.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan mind map terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA pada konsep cahaya dan sifat-sifat. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Kasemen Kota Serang tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Grup Design dan menggunakan populasi seluruh siswa kelas V. sampel penelitian di SDN Kasemen Kota Serang adalah kelas VA dan VB. Kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen sebanyak 35 siswa dan VB sebagai kelas kontrol sebanyak 35 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Cluster Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes pilihan ganda dan angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metode pembelajaran mind map terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA, hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Uji– t data normal dan homogen yaitu : nilai = 3,51 dengan dk = n1 + n2 – 2.= 35 + 35 – 2 = 68, = 0.05 didapatkan nilai = 1,995. Sehingga untuk Uji Dua Pihak ,- 1,995 ≤ 3,51 > 1,995, maka ditolak dan diterima. Sedangkan untuk Uji Satu Pihak didapat hasilnya > , 3,51 > 1,667 maka diterima. Hasil belajar IPA siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih baik daripada hasil belajar IPA siswa pada kelas kontrol. | |||||||||
