Abstract
Non-linear load devices are now widely used in industry sector and in the household. The using of this non linear loads are in operation cause problems in electrical systems that produce harmonics which can interfere the power quality in electrical system. One of the solution to reduce the level of harmonic distortion is the installation of a shunt active filter multilevel inverter. In this paper has been designed shunt active filter multilevel inverter three levels modeling as the effort to reduce Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) in the electrical system. MATLAB Simulink R2009a software used to make modeling and simulation. THDi before installation of shunt active filter on phase R=45.09%, phase S=73.77%, and phase T=54.66%. installation of shunt active filter multilevel inverter H-Bridge using a three-level IGBT switching components can reduce THDi to be on phase R=1.78%, phase S=0.93% , and phase T=0.88% , and by using switching component in the form of ideal switch THDi on phase R=1.78%, phase S=0.93%, and phase T=0.91%. System with the installation of a shunt active filter diode clamped multilevel inverter using a three-level IGBT components can reduce THDi phase R=0.98%, phase S=0.37%, and phas T=0.63%, and by using switching ideal switch phase R=2%, phase S=0.82%, and phase T=1.09%. From the simulation results that have made the installation of a shunt active filter is able to reduce the THDi system in accordance with the THD levels permitted by the IEEE standard 519-1992. Additional Information: | Peralatan beban non linear saat ini sudah banyak digunakan dalam bidang industri maupun dalam rumah tangga. Penggunaan beban non linear ini dalam pengoperasiannya menimbulkan permasalahan dalam sistem kelistrikan yaitu menghasilkan harmonisa yang dapat menganggu kualitas daya dalam sistem kelisrikan. Salah satu solusi untuk mereduksi tingkat distrosi harmonisa adalah dengan pemasangan filter aktif shunt multilevel inverter. Dalam tugas akhir ini telah dirancang pemodelan filter aktif shunt multilevel inverter tiga tingkat sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) dalam sistem kelistrikan. Software MATLAB Simulink R2009a digunakan untuk membuat pemodelan dan melakukan simulasi. THDi sebelum pemasangan filter aktif shunt pada fasa R=45.09%, fasa S=73.77% dan fasa T=54.66%. Pemasangan filter aktif shunt multilevel inverter H-bridge tiga tingkat dengan menggunakan komponen switching IGBT mampu mengurangi THDi pada fasa R menjadi 1.78%, fasa S=0.93% dan fasa T=0.88%. Sedangkan saat menggunakan komponen ideal switch THDi pada fasa R=1.78%, fasa S=0.92% dan fasa T=0.91%. Sistem dengan pemasangan filter aktif shunt multilevel inverter diode clamped tiga tingkat menggunakan komponen IGBT mampu mengurangi THDi fasa R=0.98%, fasa S=0.37% dan fasa T=0.63% dan dengan menggunakan komponen ideal switch fasa R=2%, fasa S=0.82% dan fasa T=1.09%. Dari hasil simulasi yang telah dilakukan pemasangan filter aktif shunt mampu mengurangi THDi sistem sesuai dengan tingkat THD yang diijinkan menurut standar IEEE 519-1992.
