Abstract

In order to improve the learning outcomes of a teacher should be able to choose the right approach to learning so that students obtain better results. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) differences in learning outcomes Civics scientific approach and contextual approach; (2) differences in learning outcomes Civics students who have high emotional intelligence and emotional intelligence is low; (3) the effect of the interaction between the scientific approach and emotional intelligence on learning outcomes Civics; (4) differences in learning outcomes Civics scientific approach, high emotional intelligence and contextual approach, high emotional intelligence; (5) differences in learning outcomes Civics scientific approach, low emotional intelligence and contextual approach, low emotional intelligence. Samples were fourth grade students of the school year 2014/2015, consists of two classes each class there are 30 students. The research was conducted in November 2014. The method uses quasi-experimental research with data analysis using ANOVA two lanes. The results showed: (1) The results of the scientific approach to studying Civics higher learning outcomes Civics contextual approach, (2) Results of studying Civics high emotional intelligence is higher than the results of studying Civics low emotional intelligence, (3) There is an interaction between the scientific approach and intelligence Civics emotional about learning outcomes, (4) The results of the scientific approach to studying Civics, high emotional intelligence is higher than the results of studying Civics contextual approach, high emotional intelligence, (5) The results of the scientific approach to studying Civics, low emotional intelligence is lower than the learning outcomes approach Civics contextual, low emotional intelligence.

Additional Information: Untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar seorang guru harus mampu memilih pendekatan pembelajaran yang tepat agar peserta didik memperoleh hasil yang lebih baik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui:(1) perbedaan hasil belajar PKn pendekatan saintifik dan pendekatan kontekstual; (2) perbedaan hasil belajar PKn siswa yang memiliki kecerdasan emosional tinggi dan kecerdasan emosional rendah; (3) pengaruh interaksi antara pendekatan saintifik dan Kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar PKn; (4) perbedaan hasil belajar PKn pendekatan saintifik, kecerdasan emosional tinggi dan pendekatan kontekstual, kecerdasan emosional tinggi; (5) perbedaan hasil belajar PKn pendekatan saintifik, kecerdasan emosional rendah dan pendekatan kontekstual, kecerdasan emosional rendah. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV tahun pelajaran 2014/2015, terdiri dari 2 kelas setiap kelas ada 30 siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2014. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen dengan analisis data menggunakan Anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Hasil belajar PKn pendekatan saintifik lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar PKn pendekatan kontekstual, (2) Hasil belajar PKn kecerdasan emosional tinggi lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar PKn kecerdasan emosional rendah, (3) Terdapat interaksi antara pendekatan saintifik dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar PKn, (4) Hasil belajar PKn pendekatan saintifik,kecerdasan emosional tinggi lebih tinggi dari hasil belajar PKn pendekatan kontekstual, kecerdasan emosional tinggi, (5) Hasil belajar PKn pendekatan saintifik, kecerdasan emosional rendah lebih rendah dari hasil belajar PKn pendekatan kontekstual, kecerdasan emosional rendah.
