Abstract
The aim of this study was to determine the extent of the influence of motivation and academic competence to the performance of teachers at vocational senior high school private rayon 2 Tangerang City. If there is a positive and significant influence how strong the influence of motivation and academic competence the performance of teachers at vocational senior high school private rayon 2 Tangerang City. Data on the three variables were obtained through a questionnaire prepared by the researchers is to measure things that are related to there of the above. The method used was a survey, sample selection techniques in this research using random sampling method Taro Yamane or Slovin. The results showed that: (1) There is a positive the influence between motivation to work on the performance of teachers at vocational senior high school Tangerang City private rayon 2 with value F hitung= 316,265> value F table= 315, and the coefficient of correlation R= 0,904; (2) There is positive the influence between academic competence to the performance of of Tangerang City private rayon 2 with value F hitung=.297,673> F table=3,15, and the coefficient of correlation R=0,898;(3) There is positive the influence between motivation and academic competence simultaneously on teacher performance in vocational senior high school Tangerang City private rayon 2 with multiple regression equation Ŷ=5,602 + 0,567X1+ 0,455X2 on α= 0,05. The implications of this research are the teachers performance will be better if the work motivation and academic competence.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh motivasi kerja dankompetensi akademik terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Swasta Rayon 2 Kota Tangerang.Jika ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan maka seberapa kuat pengaruh motivasi Pengaruh motivasi kerja dankompetensi akademik terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Swasta Rayon 2 Kota Tangerang. Data tentang tiga variabel tersebut diperoleh melalui angket kuesioner yang disusun oleh peneliti yaitu mengukur hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan tiga hal di atas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah survey, teknik pemilihan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode random sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Taro Yamane atauSlovin.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi kerjater hadap kinerja guru di SMK Swasta Rayon 2 Kota Tangerang dengan nilai F hitung = 316.265 >nilai F tabel= 315, koefisiensi korelasi ( R ) =0,904; (2) Terdapat pengaruh positif kompetensi akademik terhadap kinerja guru di SMK Swasta Rayon 2 Kota Tangerang dengan nilai F hitung = 296,673 >nilai F tabel= 3,15, koefisensi korelasi (R) = 0,898; (3) Terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi kerja dan kompetensi akademik terhadap kinerja guru secara bersama-sama di SMK SWasta Rayon 2 Kota Tangerang dengan nilai persamaan regresi Ŷ= 5,602 + 0,567X1+ 0,455X2 pada α= 0,05. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah kinerja guru akan berdampak lebih baik jika motivasi kerja dan kompetensi akademik ditingkatkan dengan optimal | |||||||||
