Abstract

New technologies in the field of telecommunications and computer networks with new concepts such as network systems LAN (Local Area Network). LAN is a network that can do the exchange of data and resources with multiple computers within a single building or a work area. To determine the performance LAN network, it should be an analysis of network performance parameter measurements. QOS (Quality of Services) is the ability to guarantee delivery of data packets flow or ability categories that determine the satisfaction level of use of a network. From the analysis of network performance monitoring process is then performed and the measurement parameters on network infrastructure such as access speed and transmission capacity, from point of origin to point of destination receiver, the parameters used bandwidth, delay, jitter and packet loss. LAN network ICTnet have sufficient reliability, maintenance and availability of LAN or WLAN are met diarea workers. Monitoring to view network performance, can be seen on display Log PRTG Network Monitoring, Results Uptime and Downtime was also not too bad and the QoS parameters measured were still in a good category with network quality improvement of about 85% - 90% compared with the network system previously.
