Abstract

Ade Suryono. 7771140121. Moral and Religious Values in Rindu Novel Tere Liye thesis work. Indonesian education. University graduate Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa. 2015. This study aims to assess the value of moral and religious values contained in the novel, entitled Longing work Tere Liye (For Subjects in High School Class XI). Subjects of this study is novel Longing work Tere Liye. The method used in this research is qualitative method with content analysis techniques (conten analisys) and supported by a supporting theory hermeneutic that produce a description or picture of moral values and religious values contained in the novel Longing work Tere Liye compared with phenomena that occur at this time. Data were collected through the results read, analyze, and interviews with five speakers, namely, novelist, observer / connoisseur of literature, Indonesian teacher, a teacher of Islamic education, Civics Education teachers, and students. Data analysis was carried out, namely the organizing process and sort the data into patterns, categories, and a basic description of the unit so it can be discovered and formulated the theme as expressed by Moleong (2002: 103). The purpose of this study to determine the moral values embodied in the novel "Homesick" Tere Liye, the values of religious novel "Homesick" Tere Liye work and preparation of teaching literature in high school on the understanding of moral values and religious values in the novel "Homesick" Tere Liye work. Based on the results of data analysis, found their moral values identified the 9 values which are translated into 4 categories fairness, honesty, responsibility, and peace. While the religious values are 25 grades pertaining to man's relationship with God, man's relationship with the other man, and man's relationship with himself / nature. In addition it is also evident that the novel, entitled Longing work Tere readability and suitability criteria can be used as an alternative Indonesian study materials, especially in high school Grade XI.
