Abstract

In essence, every child had diverse intelligence, one of those is interpersonal intelligence. Interpersonal intelligence is related to the ability of social who in essence man can’t life alone and need another man or also called by a social beings. A method of project is one of the learning that give chance to children to interact with others, get the experience learn directly, and children get learning meaningful and can be used to improve children’s Interpersonal intelligence. The aims of this research is knowing interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kartika Siliwangi 39 Serang, Banten. The subject of this research were 11 children aged 5-6 years which concist of 4 boys and 7 girls. The method used in this research is a action research. Results of this research were obtained after the authors conducted an observations in two cycles to achieve the standard level of achievement child development. The average level of achievement of interpersonal intelligence in children aged 5-6 years in kindergarten Kartika Siliwangi 39 Serang, Banten who earlier in pre research at only 36 % in the first cycle with the implementation of as many as 8 meeting reaches 51% and the second cycles by as much as 4 meeting execution reached 80%. Base on the results of the data that has been obtained, it can be concluded that by using the method of project in the learning activities, the interpersonal intelligence of children aged 5-6 years increased very well in second semester, academic years 2015-2016 in TK Kartika Siliwangi 39 Serang, Banten.
