Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to improve student learning outcomes IPS using Call On The Next Speaker. This study was conducted in SDN Priuk 2 Tangerang in Semester II Academic Year 2014/2015, the number of sixth grade students as many as 46 people. The method used in this research is a classroom action research method using a cycle of Kemmis and Tagart. Class Action Research conducted through the planning stages, class action / implementation, observation and reflection. Data collected by using a test instrument and nontes form of sheets of observation, interviews and field notes. This research is pursued in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings. With the issue a) How is the increase in activity by the use of students 'learning method call on the next speaker in social studies learning?, B) How to increase students' cognitive learning outcomes by the use of learning methods call on the next speaker in social studies learning?. The results obtained from this study is the increased activity and student learning outcomes for participating in learning activities IPS by using Call On The Next Speaker. Learning activities of students in the first cycle by 80% and increased 10% in the second cycle that is to be 90%. While the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in the first cycle was 58.69% and an increase of 25.82% in the second cycle to be 84.78%. Thus the use of methods Call On The Next Speaker can improve student learning outcomes in social studies in class VI SDN Priuk 2 Tangerang.
