Abstract
The purpose of this research is to improve class study activity observation and students learning outcomes on the subject of production technology, communication and transportation through the medium of learning Macromedia Flash. This research is a form of classroom action research using the model cycle carried out in four phase, that is planning, implementation or action, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted because of the low value of learning outcomes in social studies. Subjects in this study are 4 th grade of SDN Serang 14 totaling 35 students. Data collection techniques used in this research that is interviews, observation or observations, written test, and documentation. While the instruments used for data collection is test result of learning, observation and documentation. This researh was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of two meetings and at each end of the meeting carried out tests so that it can be seen improving student learning outcomes in each cycle. The reserach showed that an increase in class activity which led to increased results student learning outcomes. In the first cycle the percentage of class activity reached 70%, while in the second cycle the percentage of class activity increased reached 95%. In the first cycle the average value of student learning outcomes reached 70.29 with with learning completeness percentage is 71.5%. While in the second cycle of the average value of student learning outcomes reached 83.20 with the percentage of completeness is 100%. Results of tests after the learning process is classified in the category very well with indicators of success reached a value above KKM as much as 100%. Therefore, the use of Macromedia Flash can improving student learning outcomes in social studies 4 th of SDN Serang 14. Keywords : Learning Outcomes, Macromedia Flash, Social Studies
