Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine: Biological differences between the learning achievement of learning media power point and without learning media power point; Biological differences in learning achievement between high initial capability and low initial capability; influence the interaction between the media and the ability of learning power point early on the learning achievement of Biology; Biological differences in learning achievement between learning media power point with high prior knowledge and without learning media power point with high initial capability; the difference between the learning achievement of Biology PowerPoint instructional media with low prior knowledge and without learning media power point with lower initial ability. The study population was a student of class X as many as 288 students, while the samples used were 72 people, divided into 36 classes and 36 classes of control experiments. This research was conducted at SMAN 2 South Tangerang City. Method used quasiexperimental research with two lanes ANOVA analysis. The results showed: there are significant differences between the learning achievement of Biology who use media without using a power point with media power point; there are significant differences between the biology of learning achievement of students who have a high initial capability with low initial capability; There was a significant interaction effect between media use and ability power point early on the learning achievement of Biology; there are significant differences between the biology of learning achievement of students who have a high initial ability to use media power point with students who have a high initial capability without the use of media power point; there are significant differences between students who have low initial ability to use media power point with students who have a low initial capability without the use of media power point .

Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas X sebanyak 288 siswa sedangkan sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 72 orang yang terbagi atas 36 kelas eksperimen dan 36 kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 2 Kota Tangerang Selatan. Metode penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperimen dengan analisis anova dua jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara prestasi belajar Biologi yang menggunakan media power point dengan tanpa menggunakan media power point; terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar Biologi antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi dengan kemampuan awal rendah; terdapat pengaruh interaksi yang signifikan antara penggunaan media power point dan kemampuan awal terhadap prestasi belajar Biologi; terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan prestasi belajar Biologi antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi yang menggunakan media power point dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi yang tanpa menggunakan media power point; terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal rendah yang menggunakan media power point dengan siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal rendah yang tanpa menggunakan media power point. | |||||||||
