Abstract
The aim of this study is to know abaut the influence of leadership and academic supervision of the principal on teacher’s work motivation and its impact on teacher’s performance on MAN in Kabupaten Pandeglang. The population used in this research were 108 teachers and 4 principals in 4 MAN which consists of MAN Pandeglang, MAN Cihedeung, MAN Panimbang and MAN Cibaliung,and for the sample used 81 teachers and 4 principals. This study used quantitative approach with used the survey method through path analysis techniques.Leadership and academic supervision of principal is exogenous variables while teacher’s work motivation and teacher performance is an edogenous variable with teacher’s work motivation as intervening variable. The results of this study are the principal’s leadership, academic supervision of the principal and teacher’s work motivation contribute simultaneously on teacher’s performance (contribute = 98,4%), the leadership of the principal and the academic supervise on of the principal contribute simultaneously on the teacher work motivation (contribute = 98,3 %), there are direct influence from principal’s leadership to teacher’s work motivation (contribute = 69,56%), there are direct influence from principal’s leadership to teacher’s performance (contribute = 27,67%), there are direct influence from principal’s supervision to teacher’s work motivation (contribute = 7%), there are not direct influence from principal’s academic supervision to teacher’s performance (contribute = 0,25%), there are direct influence from teacher’s work motivation to teacher’s performance (contribute = 17,81%)

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja guru pada Madrasah Aliyah Negeri di Kabupaten Pandeglang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 108 guru dan 4 kepala sekolah pada 4 Madrasah Aliyah Negeri yang terdiri dari MAN Pandeglang, MAN Cihideung, MAN Panimbang, dan MAN Cibaliung. Sedangkan sampel penelitian sebanyak 81 guru dan 4 kepala madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey melalui teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Kepemimpinan dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah merupakan variabel eksogen sedangkan motivasi kerja guru dan kinerja guru merupakan variabel endogen dengan motivasi kerja guru sebagai variabel antara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, supervisi akademik kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja guru secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru sebesar 98,4%, pengaruh kepemimpinan dan supervisi akademik kepala sekolah secara bersama-sama terhadap motivasi kerja guru sebesar 98,3%, terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru (kontribusi = 69,56%), terdapat pengaruh langsung kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru (kontribusi = 27,67%), terdapat pengaruh langsung antara supervise akademik kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja guru (kontribusi = 7%), tidak terdapat pengaruh langsung antara supervisi akademik kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru (kontribusi = 0,25%), dan terdapat pengaruh langsung antara motivasi kerja guru terhadap kinerja guru (kontribusi = 17,81%) | |||||||||
