Abstract
The objective of the research are to describe the positive and significant relation between teacher‟s competence with teacher performance, among the working climate with teacher performance, and the competence of teachers and the working climate with the math teacher performance. The population consisted of 107 teachers and 84 samples of mathematics teachers in theJunior High Schoolas the city of Serang. time of the study began in October 2014 to January 2015. The study uses a quantitative approach to the correlation method, this research is also shaped by using descriptive survey research. In this study, descriptive statistics and parametric receipts, the type of data used is the interval Likert scale model. Data processing is done through the help of a computer with SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) version 17.0. The researcher found out same conclusions after conducting the research, such as: Competence teacher has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance correlation coefficient at 0.768 and t test > t , showed 10.849> 2, 000. The work climate has a positive and significant relationship with teacher performance, with a correlation coefficient of 0.686 and t table test > t , showed 8.534> 2.000. Simultaneously, teacher competence and work climate has a positive and significant relationship with the teacher's performance is characterized by a correlation coefficient of 0.789 and F test > F table , showed 66.82> 3.44.

| Additional Information: | Tujuan penelitian adalah mendeskripsikan hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi guru dengan kinerja guru, antara iklim kerja dengan kinerja guru, dan antara kompetensi guru dan iklim kerja dengan kinerja guru matematika. Populasinya terdiri dari 107 guru dan sampel 84 guru matematika di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Kota Serang. waktu pelaksanaan penelitian mulai bulan Oktober 2014 sampai dengan bul an Januari 2015. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional, penelitian ini juga berbentuk penelitian survei dengan menggunakan deskriptif. Pada penelitian ini meggunakan statistik deskriptif dan parametris, jenis data yang digunakan adalah interval dengan model skala Likert. Pengolahan data dilakukan melaui bantuan computer dengan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 17.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Kompetensi guru memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kinerja guru dengan koefisisen korelasi 0,768 dan t > t , yaitu 10,849 > 2, 000. Iklim kerja memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan dengan kinerja guru, dengan koefisien korelasi 0,686 dan t tabel > t , yaitu 8,534 > 2,000.
