Abstract
The quality of education is strongly influenced by the success or failure of the educational process that has been developed by the government and social religious organizations that engaged on the field of education. The one of important factor on the achievement of quality education is the teaching performance of teachers. Teacher's teaching performance can be seen from several factors, including the style of principal leadership which is on this study focused on situational leadership style and work motivation of teachers in teaching. The purpose of this study was to determine relationship between the style of principal leadership and work motivation with the performance of teachers on senior high school in Sub District Puloampel Serang The method that used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach, through the technique of data analysis using statistical parametric correlation. The data collection technique using a questionnaire. The population in this study is the teachers of SMKN Puloampel and the teachers of SMAN 1 Puloampel, which amounts to 90 people with 73 people as a sample of research. From the analysis of the data found the strong and significant relationship between the style of principal leadership with teacher performance, there is a strong relationship and significant between motivation and teacher performance also there is strong relationship and significant between the style of principal leadership and teachers' work motivation and performance in senior high school in th e District Puloampel Serang

| Additional Information: | Mutu pendidikan sangat dipengaruhi oleh berhasil atau tidaknya proses pendidikan yang selama ini dikembangkan oleh pemerintah dan organisasi sosial kemasyarakatan maupun keagamaan yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan. Salah satu faktor yang penting dalam pencapaian pendidikan yang bermutu adalah kinerja mengajar para guru. Kinerja mengajar guru dapat dilihat dari beberapa faktor diantaranya gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah yang dalam penelitian ini difokuskan pada gaya kepemimpinan situasional dan motivasi kerja guru dalam mengajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru pada Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas di Kecamatan Puloampel Kabupaten Serang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melalui teknik analisis data korelasional menggunakan statistik parametrik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru SMKN 1 Puloampel dan guru SMAN 1 Puloampel, yang berjumlah 90 orang dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 73 orang. Dari hasil analisis data diketahui terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dengan kinerja guru, terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat dan signifikan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja guru serta terdapat hubungan yang kuat dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara simultan dengan kinerja guru di Sekolah Lanjutan Tingkat Atas Negeri di Kecamatan Puloampel Kabupaten Serang. | |||||||||
