Abstract

he Correlation between Teacher’s Professional Competence and completeness of educational facilities with School Organizational health in the Vocational High School of Pharmacy in Tangerang City. Thesis. Post Graduate Study of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University, 2014. This research aims at studying the correlation between teacher’s professional competence and completeness of educational facilities with school organizational health in the Vocational High School of Pharmacy in Tangerang city. The hypotheses are : (1) There will be a correlation of teacher’s professional competence with school organizational health, (2) There will be a correlation of completeness of educational facilities with school organizational health, and (3) There will be a correlation between teacher’s professional competence and completeness of educational facilities with school organizational health. The populations are all the teachers of Vocational High School of Pharmacy in Tangerang city that amount 109 teachers from three schools : SMK Kesehatan Bina Insan Cendekia Tangerang, SMK Kesehatan Banten and SMK YP Karya. As the samples are 90 teachers, 30 for trial samples and 60 for research samples. The research uses Survey Methods with Random Sampling technique. The points are obtained from the charging instrument by teachers in the form of questionnaire with 5 Likert Scale Model. The validity is tested with Product Moment formula, and the reliability is tested with Alpha Cronbach formula. The results show that : (1) There is a positive and significant correlation of teacher’s professional competence with school organizational health, with regression equation Ŷ=29,38 + 0,73 X 1 v , and the coefficient of correlation (r ) = 0,777 at α = 0,05 ; (2) There is a positive and significant correlation of completeness of educational facilities with school organizational health, with regression equation Ŷ= 46,61 + 0,62 X 2 , and the coefficient of correlation (r ) = 0,722 at α = 0,05 ; (3) There is a positive and significant relationship between teacher’s professional competence together with the educational facilities complement with school’s organizational health, with multiple regression equation Ŷ= 30,21 + 0,631 X 1 + 0,099 X at α = 0,05. The implications of this research are the school’s organizational health will be better if the teacher’s professional competence and the educational facilities complement are developed optimally

Hipotesis penelitian adalah : (1) Terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi profesional guru dengan kesehatan organisasi sekolah, (2) Terdapat hubungan positif antara kelengkapan sarana/prasarana pendidikan dengan kesehatan organisasi sekolah, (3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi profesional guru dan kelengkapan sarana/ prasarana pendidikan secara bersama-sama dengan kesehatan organisasi sekolah. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru honorer Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Bidang Farmasi di Kota Tangerang, yang berjumlah 109 guru yang berasal dari tiga sekolah, yaitu SMK Kesehatan Bina Insan Cendekia Tangerang, SMK Kesehatan Banten dan SMK YP Karya. Dengan sampel berjumlah 90 guru, yang dibagi untuk sampel ujicoba sebanyak 30 guru, dan untuk sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 guru. Penelitian menggunakan Metode Survey dengan teknik Random Sampling. Data diperoleh dari pengisian instrumen oleh guru berupa angket berisi kuisioner dengan menggunakan model 5 skala Likert. Validitas instrumen menggunakan formula Product Moment, dan Reliabilitas instrumen menggunakan Alpha Cronbach. Hasil temuan penelitian diperoleh : (1) Terdapat hubungan positif antara kompetensi profesional guru dengan kesehatan organisasi sekolah, dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ=29,38 + 0,73 X , koefisien korelasi (r ) = 0,777 pada α = 0,05 ; (2) Terdapat hubungan positif antara kelengkapan sarana/ prasarana pendidikan dengan kesehatan organisasi sekolah, dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ= 46,61 + 0,62 X y1 , koefisien korelasi (r ) = 0,722 pada α = 0,05. (3) Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi profesional guru dan kelengkapan sarana/ prasarana pendidikan secara bersama-sama dengan kesehatan organisasi sekolah, dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ= 30,21 + 0,631 X y2 iv 1 + 0,099 X pada α = 0,05. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah kesehatan organisai sekolah akan berdampak lebih baik jika kompetensi profesional guru dan kelengkapan sarana/prasarana pendidikan ditingkatkan dengan optimal.
