Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationshipbetween organizational culture and leadership principals with innovativecivil servant teachers at high schools in the city of Serang. This study was conducted at eight high schools in the city ofSerang, namely SMAN 1 and SMAN 8 Serang. The method used in thisresearch is survey method with the correlational approach. Measuringtools (instruments) used of all the variables studied using a questionnaire(questionnaire) are designed and intended for teachers civil servants ineight high schools in Serang city with a total population of 305 people, witha sample of 174 teachers with sampling techniques using proportionatestratified random sampling. The results showed that There is a significant positive relationshipbetween organizational culture variables (X1) with the innovation ofteachers (Y). The strength of the relationship between the variables X1and Y indicated by ry1 correlation coefficient of 0.450, coefficientdeterminant r2y1 of 0.442, and the regression equation y = 84.99 +0,284X1, thus contributing organizational culture variables (X1) to theinnovation of teachers (Y)by 44, 20%. This means the teacher innovationfactors influenced by organizational culture. There is a significant positiverelationship between the variables of school leadership (X2) with theinnovation of teachers (Y). The strength of the relationship between X2and Y indicated by ry2 correlation coefficient of 0.442, coefficientdeterminant r2y2 of 0.19519, and the regression equation y = 73.14 +0,363X2, so that the contribution of variable X2 to Y at 19.519%. Thismeans the teacher innovation factors influenced by school leadership.There is a significant positive relationship between organizational culturevariables (X1) and school leadership (X2) with teacher innovationvariables (Y). The strength of the relationship between the variables X1,X2, andY is indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.2339 ry1.2, multiplecorrelation coefficient (r2y1.2) of 0.0547, and the regression equation y =70.96 + 0,177X1 + 0,21X2 , thus contributing variables X1 and X2 togetheragainst Y of 5.47%. Based on these valuescan be explained that theinnovation of teachers affected jointly by the culture of the organizationand leadership of the school principal.

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di delapan SMA Negeri di Kota Serang,yaitu SMA Negeri 1 sampai SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang. Alat ukur (instrumen) yang digunakan dari semua variabelyang diteliti menggunakan angket (kuesioner) yang dirancang danditujukan kepada guru-guru PNS yang ada di delapan SMA Negeri di KotaSerang dengan jumlah populasi sebanyak 305 orang, dengan sampelsebanyak 174 guru dengan teknik sampling menggunakanproportionatestratified random sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Terdapat hubungan positifyang sangat signifikan antara variabel budaya organisasi(X ) denganinovasiguru (Y).Kekuatan hubunganantara variabel X dan Y ditunjukanoleh koefisien korelasi r y1 1 1 sebesar 0,450, koefisien determinan r sebesar 0,442, dan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 84,99+ 0,284X , sehinggakontribusi variabel budaya organisasi (X ) terhadap inovasi guru (Y)sebesar44,20%. Hal ini berarti faktor inovasiguru dipengaruhi oleh faktorbudaya organisasi. Terdapat hubungan positif yang sangat signifikanantara variabel kepemimpinan kepalasekolah(X 1 )dengan inovasi guru(Y). Kekuatan hubungan antara variabel X 2 2 dan Y ditunjukkan olehkoefisien korelasi r y2 sebesar 0,442, koefisien determinan r sebesar0,19519, dan persamaan regresiŶ = 73,14+ 0,363X sehingga kontribusivariabel X 2 2, terhadap Y sebesar 19,519%.Hal ini berarti faktor inovasiguru dipengaruhi oleh faktor kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Terdapathubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara variabel budaya organisasi(X 1 )dankepemimpinan kepalasekolah(X )dengan varibel inovasi guru(Y).Kekuatan hubungan antara variabel X 2 1, X dan Y ditunjukkan olehkoefisien korelasi r y1.2 2, sebesar 0,2339,koefisien korelasi ganda (r )sebesar 0,0547, dan persamaan regresi Ŷ =70,96+ 0,177X sehingga kontribusi variabel X 1 dan X secara bersama-sama terhadap Ysebesar5,47%. Berdasarkan nilai tersebut dapat dijelaskan bahwa padainovasi guru dipengaruhi secara bersama-sama olehbudaya organisasidankepemimpinan kepalasekolah.
