Abstract
This study aims to investigate empirically the effect of management control systems and business strategy and company performance. The sample in this research is 44 respondents with technic sampling purposive sampling managers working in manufacturing companies located in Cilegon is at least 1 year. Data collected by spreading kuesioner directly to the respondents concerned aided by a brief interview. The analytical method used in this research is the approach of Structural Equation Model (SEM) software using Partial Least Square (PLS) version 3:00 The results of this study revealed that the Diagnostic Control System, Interactive Control System and Dynamic Tension positive effect on Cost Leadership strategy. But Diagnostic Control System positive effect was not significant. Meanwhile, Cost Leadership Strategy positive effect on company performance.
