Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical evidence of the effect of risk monitoring committee with risk disclosure, risk disclosure is measured using scoring techniques. Risk Monitoring Committee proxy with the size of the risk monitoring committee, independent risk monitoring committee, risk monitoring committee expertise, the frequency of risk monitoring committee meetings. The sample in this research was a total of 27 banking companies listed on the Stock Exchange 2011-2014 period. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis. Hypothesis testing is done by using the F test and t test. The results of this research are: the size of the risk monitoring committee no significant effect on risk disclosure, independent risk monitoring committee no significant effect on risk disclosure, risk monitoring committee expertise no significant effect on risk disclosure, the frequency of risk monitoring committee meetings significant effect on risk disclosure.
