Abstract

Fajar Hari Setyadi. Influence of The Effectiveness of Spraying Pesticides to Control Pest and Diseanses in Potato plants (Solanum tuberosum L). (Supervised by Dewi Hastuti, Nuniek Hermita and Tonny K. Moekasan). The purpose of this research was to know influence on the effectiveness of spraying pesticides to control pests and diseases on potato (solanum tuberosum L). the research was conducted on August to November 2015 at the Indonesia Vegetable Research Insitute, Lembang, Bandung regency, West Java. This research was used a plot paired with two levels, that spraying the upper leaves (NZ 1) and spraying the upper and lower leaf (NZ 2). Pesticide spraying technique shower the presence of the pest population difference with the effectiveness of the pest Thrips sp. 14,70 %, Aphis gossypii 13,97 %, Phithorimaea operculella 9,27 % and Bemisia tabaci 3,83 %. Pesticide spraying technique give different responses to the potato tuber weight, the best treatment was the technique of spraying pesticides upper and lower leaf ( NZ 2) with the results of 97.258 g Keywords : pesticides, potatoes, spraying technique.
