Abstract
Purpose of this study was to determine the result of the material opportunities to learn mathematics class IX SMPN 14 South Tangerang city by implementing cooperative learning Think Pair share and student motivation. By conclusions: 1) The implementation of cooperative learning model Think Pair share and motivation to learn can improve student learning outcomes IX.2 grade SMP 14 South Tangerang is applied in accordance with the stages of learning according to the learning stages of TPS. The TPS learning, emphasizing the three major steps that stage think (think), pair (pairs), and share (share). 2) Improved student learning outcomes IX.2 grade SMP 14 South Tangerang City through the implementation of cooperative learning Think Pair share and motivation to learn proven to increase. Improved student learning outcomes demonstrated begin initial tests until the second cycle. The implications of the student's activity resulted in increased student learning outcomes. It is also reinforced with previous research that has been done by Abdurohim. Results of research conducted by Abdurohim indicate active students in learning through the application of Think Pair And Share improve learning outcomes.

Additional Information: | Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar matematika pada materi peluang kelas IX SMP Negeri 14 Kota Tangerang Selatan dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kooperatif think pair share dan motivasi belajar siswa. Dengan kesimpulan : 1) Penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif think pair share dan motivasi belajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX.2 SMP Negeri 14 Kota Tangerang Selatan ini diterapkan sesuai dengan tahapan pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tahapan pembelajaran TPS. Pembelajaran TPS ini, menekankan kepada tiga langkah utama yaitu tahap think (berpikir), pair (berpasangan), dan share (berbagi). 2) Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IX.2 SMP Negeri 14 Kota Tangerang Selatan melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif think pair share dan motivasi belajar terbukti mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan hasil belajar ditunjukkan siswa mulai tes awal hingga siklus III. Hal ini juga diperkuat dengan penelitian yang sebelumnya telah dilakukan oleh Abdurohim. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan oleh Abdurohim menunjukkan adanya keaktifan siswa dalam pembelajaran melalui penerapan Think Pair And Share meningkatkan hasil belajar | |||||||||
