Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the influence of minimum wages, educational attainment of junior high school, and educational attainment of university on the labor productivity of engaged in large and medium manufacturing establishment in Banten Province. The analysis method used in this research is use panel data regression analysis of fixed effects model (FEM) from 2006-2011. The results of this study indicate that partial minimum wage significantly affect the labor productivity and have a positive relationship. Educational attainment of junior high school significantly affect the labor productivity and have a negative relationship. Educational attainment of university significantly affect the labor productivity and have a negative relationship. And all over variable minimum wage, educational attainment of junior high school, and educational attainment of university has significant effect on the labor productivity of engaged in large and medium manufacturing establishment in Banten Province. In addition, the R-Square value of 0,817262, which means that the independent variable can explain the effect of the relationship on the dependent variable of 81,73 percent and the rest 18,27 percent influenced by other variables outside of this research.
