Abstract

This research aimed to determine the skills of the students process through the guided discovery learning based local excellence on subconcepts eubacteria role in life. The method used was a descriptive method. This research of the population was class X of SMAN 13 Tangerang District. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling. The sample was the class X.A consisted of 46 students. The instrument used skills process test, observation sheets and questionnaires. Based on the results of the study showed that the skills process of the students belong to the good categories with an average percentage of 82.52%. The average value of the skills process aspect of the highest in classifying aspects with a percentage of 90.22%, while the lowest skill process aspect was aspects of implementing the concept with a percentage of 72.28%. Student responses during learning activities using guided discovery learning based local excellence on subconcepts eubacteria role in life was good with a percentage of 77.34%.
