Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine: (1) the impact of family ownership on voluntary disclosure, (2) the impact of family ownership on voluntary disclosure with corporate governance as the moderating variable. In obtaining the data, the researcher used program software Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The sample of study consist of 174 observations from manufacture company which listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange from 2011 to 2013. Multiple regression analysis is used to the hypothesis in this research. The result of this study showed that the impact of family ownership has significant influence toward voluntary disclosure, and corporate governance as the moderating variable gives the significant relation between family ownership and voluntary disclosure.
