Abstract

This research was aimed to determine the ability of psychomotor class VII MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang on angiospermae plant classifications subconcept through the scientific approach. The method used in this research is descriptive method, with the sample were 37 students of VII C were taken by randome sampling techniques. Observation sheet psychomotor skills and a student worksheet used in this study. Result of the study it can be concluded that learning the scientific approach to develop psychomotor abilities of students as much as 80,4% were included in the excellent category. There are 46% of students have excellent psychomotor abilities, 24% of students with psychomotor abilities with good categoris and sufficient categories, and 6% of students have bad psychomotor abilities. The highest scores are the aspects that is guided movement of 87,5 % (excellent categories), and the lowest score was 70,3 % (good categories) which aspects accustomed movement.
