Abstract

This study aimed to determine students’ cognitive abilities in the human skeletal system concept through media Charta aplication in class VIII E SMPN 1 Cikupa Tangerang. The research method used is descriptive. The population in this study were all students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Cikupa Tangerang academic year 2014/2015. The samples used was class VIII E with 40 students. The sampling technique used in this study were purposive sampling. The data collection technique using a pretest-posttest. The instruments used was multiple choice objective tests to measure cognitive ability. Based on the results of this study concluded that the use of media charta can increase the value of cognitive abilities class VIII E SMPN 1 Cikupa Tangerang.
