Abstract
Monopoly educational media with the theme of environmental preservation is an educational media adapted from the game of monopoly as a learning support, thus helping in growing students' learning motivation to get better learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to develop and determine the level of validity of the monopoly educational media that has been made. The research method used is Research 3and Development (R&D) according to Borg and Gall (1983) which was adapted into three stages, namely (1) searching and collecting data, (2) planning, and (3) developing the initial product form. The results of the study based on the validity test of the monopoly educational media with the theme of environmental preservation for class VII SMP obtained an average score of 81,45% with a very valid category.
