Abstract

PT. XYZ is tinplate industry with primary product raw material to make can, where produced at ETL, SHL and SCL machine. This research was concerned to ETL machine, because this machine have full continue 24 hours production, no idle time and maintenance method for existing is corrective maintenance, with the result that appear downtime problem. Each component broken probably make line production stop. This is make turn down ability from machine, so need rescheduling to keep machine performance. The aim of this research was to determine critical components from ETL machine, calculate reliability score and determine suggestion time of maintenance. To identification of critical components using pareto diagram, to determine of distribution model, calculate of existing reliability score and to determine suggestion time of maintenance period use monte carlo simulation. After processing and analysis, knew if critical components of ETL machine are sink roll, surface roll, quenching, electric module and wringer roll. Cause of damage is lubrication problem, bearing broken, stain on surface roll, stain on filter and electrical component broken. Reliability score to suggestion model equipment sink roll is 36.89%, surface roll 48.39%, quenching 27.56%, electric module 27.29% and wringer roll 37.07%. Suggestion to maintenance time of equipment sink roll is each 9 days, surface roll is each 2 days, quenching is each 2 days, electric module is each 2 days and wringer roll is each 7 days.

Additional Information: PT. XYZ merupakan industri tinplate dengan produk utamanya bahan baku kemasan kaleng, yang dibuat pada mesin ETL, SHL dan SCL. Mesin ETL menjadi objek penelitian, karena waktu produksi 24 jam, tidak ada idle dan sistem perawatan bersifat corrective maintenance, sehingga sering timbul permasalahan downtime. Setiap kerusakan komponen dapat menyebabkan terhentinya produksi. Hal tersebut menyebabkan menurunnya kemampuan mesin, maka perlu dilakukan penjadwalan yang optimal untuk mempertahankan performansi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menetukan komponen kritis mesin ETL, menghitung nilai reliability dan menentukan usulan waktu perawatan. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan mengidentifikasi komponen kritis menggunakan diagram pareto, menentukan distribusi, menghitung nilai reliability, dan menentukan usulan waktu perawatan dengan simulasi montecarlo. Setelah dilakukan pengolahan dan analisa data diketahui bahwa komponen kritis mesin ETL adalah sink roll, surface roll, quenching, electric module dan wringer roll. Penyebab kerusakan pada komponen kritis adalah gagal pelumasan¸bearing roll rusak, kotoran pada permukaan roll, penumpukkan kotoran pada filter dan rusaknya peralatan instrument. Untuk nilai reliability usulan komponen sink roll 36.89%, surface roll 48,39%, quenching 27.56%, electric module 27.29% dan wringer roll 37.07%. Waktu usulan perawatan komponen sink roll setiap 9 hari, surface roll setiap 2 hari, quenching setiap 2 hari, electric module setiap 2 hari dan wringer roll setiap 7 hari
