Abstract
Henry Pramudya Soegiana. NIM 092665. Skripsi. Komunikasi Instruksional Pelatih dan Atlet Tenis Meja Tunanetra Kota Bekasi. Program Studi Ilmu Komunikasi. Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik. Universitas Sultan AgengTirtayasa. 2014. Penelitian ini membahas bagaimana komunikasi instrukisonal antara pelatih dan atlet tenis meja tunanetra pada proses latihan. Perbedaan fisik antara pelatih dan atlet tenis meja tunanetra memicu permaslahan komunikasi, dimana instruksi yang semestinya disampaikan oleh pelatih dengan cara audio dan visual. Pelatih hanya mengandalkan audio untuk menggambarkan sebuah isntruksi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses komunikasi, untuk mengethaui metode komunikasi, dan untuk mengetahui komunikasi verbal dalam menyampaikan pesan antara pelatih dan atlet tenis meja tunanetra Kota Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah satu pelatih tenis meja tunanetra dan empat atlet tenis meja penyandang tunanetra. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori identifikasi Kenneth Burke, dimana kesamaan adalah satu cara identifikasi yang tercipta di antara pelatih dan atlet tenis meja tunanetra, identifikasi meningkat, penyatuan makna meningkat, sehingga akan meningkatkan pemahaman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, pertama proses komunikasi melalui tahap awal komunikasi, yang akhirnya tercipta cara pelatih dan atlet tenis meja tunanetra berkomunikasi. Kedua, metode komunikasi instruksional yang digunakan pelatih dalam proses latihan adalah menggunakan metode praktikum, dan metode diskusi. Ketiga, komunikasi instruksional yang dilakukan oleh pelatih dan atlet tenis meja tunanetra Kota Bekasi adalah komunikasi verbal secara lisan. This research examines how the instructional communications work on between the table tennis trainer and the athlete with vision disabilities during the training process. The physical differences between the trainer and the athlete trigger a communication problem, where the instruction that should be delivered by the trainer with both of audio and visual, in this case they only rely on an audio for giving a perspective of instruction. The purposes of this research is to describe the communication process between the table tennis trainer and the athlete with vision disabilities of Bekasi City during the training, and to identify what instructional communication method using by the table tennis trainer and the athlete, then to know what a verbal communication technic that the trainer use to deliver a message to the athlete. This research using the qualitative descriptive method, which is the writer interviewing and observing to collect the data. The informant of this research is one table tennis trainer and four athletes with vision disabilities. Kenneth Burke identification theory is the main theory of this research, where the similarity whit this case is once the one way identification has made between the trainer and the athlete, the identification increase, the fusion of meaning increase, then will increase the comprehension. The result shown that first, communication process passing the first step of communication, well then the communication between both created. Second, the instructional communication method used by the trainer during the training process is the practicum method and the discussion method. Third, the instructional communication used by the trainer and the athlete is verbal communication verbally.
