Abstract

Incinerator is used as one of the waste processing by burning at extremely high temperatures ( > 800C ) to reduce landfill trash classified as flammable , which can not be recycled again . Air fuel ratio ( AFR ) is a factor that affects the perfection of the combustion process in the combustion chamber which is most commonly used for the mixture in an internal combustion process. The purpose of this incinerator is to manage trash so as can reduce the volume of solid effluent ( trash ) to 85 to 95 % and a weight reduction of up to 80 % in addition to the heat generated from the combustion process can be utilized to convert the material into other materials and energy , for example for electricity generation . So that in principle trash can be managed with an environmentally friendly combustion The burning time is done within 30 minutes with maximal weight 7kg in incinerator, after burning the combustion residue is weighted again . Data were collected by primary air supply valve opening is 60 % with an air flow of 0,023 kg / s on burning trash with moisture variable 40.58 % , 50.58 % , 60.58 % Data obtained by 40.58 % moisture variable has highest temperature reached 702 ° C in 12 minutes and trash was run out for 30 minutes with a weight of 6,32 kg of trash .Moisture variable 50.58 % has highest temperature reached 742 ° C in 20 minutes and trash was run out for 30 minutes with a weight of 6.92 kg of trash . variable moisture 60.58 % has high temperatures reaching 779 ° C in 11 minutes and trash was run out for 30 minutes with a weight of 7,52 kg of trash . Ability incinerator to burningwaste averaged each combustion using different variations of moisture can reduce waste volume by 88.43 % . Keywords:Incinerator, Air fuel ratio (AFR) ,trash
