Abstract

Maintenance activities minimize cost or loss due to damage the machine. PT. Surya Toto Indonesia is a company that produces a variety of products for the purposes of the bathroom and equipment. Based on observations and interviews the Department's maintenance found problems in the section machining of the machining center. The purpose of this research is to know the critical components on the machine, machining center reliability of components, system reliability, and long periods of repair that can sustain the reliability of machine machining center at number 85% is reliable. Reliability block diagram is a method that the researcher used to analyze the reliability of the system at large and complex systems using block diagrams. The results for the determination of the critical components on machining center machine are automatic tool change, ballscrew, holder system, hydraulic, magazine, spindle, limit switch and servo amplifier. For the reliability of components automatic tool change 0,37, ballscrew 0,45, holder system 0,35, hydraulic 0,38, magazine 0,4, spindle 0,35, limit switch 0,38 and servo amplifier 0,45. Preventive maintenance schedule of the components automatic tool change every 14 days, holder sysytem and ballscrew every 30 days, hydraulic every 11 days, magazine every 35 days, spindle every 40 days, limit switch every 15 days and servo amplifier every 35 days.

Additional Information: Kegiatan perawatan dapat meminimalkan biaya atau kerugian-kerugian yang ditimbulkan akibat adanya kerusakan mesin. PT. Surya Toto Indonesia merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi beragam produk untuk keperluan kamar mandi dan perlengkapannya. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara pada departemen maintenance didapatkan masalah pada seksi machining yaitu mesin machining center. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komponen kritis pada mesin machining center, keandalan komponen, keandalan sistem, dan lama periode waktu perbaikan yang dapat mempertahankan keandalan mesin machining center pada angka 85% handal. Metode yang digunakan adalah reliability block diagram yang merupakan metode untuk menganalisa kehandalan sistem pada sistem besar dan kompleks dengan menggunakan block diagram. Hasil yang didapat untuk penentuan komponen kritis mesin machining center adalah automatic tool change, ballscrew,holder system, hydraulic, magazine, spindle, limit switch dan servo amplifier. Untuk nilai keandalan komponen automatic tool change 0,37, ballscrew 0,45, holder system 0,35, hydraulic 0,38, magazine 0,40, spindle 0,35, limit switch 0,38, servo amplifier 0,45. Jadwal preventive maintenance untuk komponen automatic tool change setiap 14 hari, ballscrew dan holder system setiap 30 hari, hydraulic setiap 11 hari, magazine setiap 35 hari, spindle setiap 40 hari, limit switch setiap 15 hari dan servo amplifier setiap 35 hari.
