Abstract

The objective of the research is to find out the effectiveness of word wall media toward students vocabulary mastery at fifth grade. The researcher used quantitative approach through quasi-experimental as a research design. The populations of this research were all of fifth grade students of 5A as experimental class and 5B as a control class. Each class consisted of 30 students. The result, showed that word wall as media is effective toward students vocabulary mastery. The result of calculation showed that in the significance degree of 5%, the value (0.390> 0.05). According to the criteria of the test, the result showed that table is significant difference between students’ vocabulary mastery by using word wall media and without word wall media. It means that word wall media is effective and applicable at fifth grade of SDN Doyong 4 toward students vocabulary mastery.
