Judul penulisan: Interaksi Komunitas Nishikai Penyuka Budaya Populer Jepang Antar Anggota dan Masyarakat Di Kota Serang Banten. Nishikai adalah komunitas penyuka budaya populer Jepang di kota Serang yang menjadi fenomena dalam masyarakat. Masyarakat yang umumnya skeptis terhadap suatu hal yang baru menjadikan hal tersebut sebagai stigma negatif. Penyebabnya ialah kurangnya informasi mengenai komunitas nishikai. Sehingga perlu adanya interaksi sosial antara komunitas nishikai dan masyarakat agar dapat menyalurkan informasi mengenai komunitas penyuka budaya Jepang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui interaksi antar anggota komunitas nishikai penyuka budaya Jepang, interaksi komunitas nishikai penyuka budaya Jepang dengan masyarakat, komunitas nishikai dalam perspektif Etnografi, komunitas nishikai dalam perspektif asimilasi. Interaksi Nishikai antar anggota komunitas melalui dua tahap yaitu assosiatif dan asimilasi, sedangkan pada interaksi komunitas nishikai dengan masyarakat terjadi proses dissosiatif. Metode Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penulis menggunakan proses-proses interaksi sosial dan tradisi etnografi Dell Hymes serta metode studi fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa interaksi antar anggota komunitas nishikai dan masyarakat terjadi melalui proses-proses interaksi sosial yang menghasilkan perbedaan-perbedaan nilai dan norma antara anggota dengan masyarakat. Saran penulis adalah penyuka budaya Jepang dapat meningkatkan kegiatan yang melibatkan masyarakat agar stigma negatif semakin berkurang. Nishikai is a community of Japanese popular culture lovers in Serang city which became a phenomenon in society. People who are usually skeptical of a new thing making it as a negative stigma. The reason is the lack of information about Nishikai community. So, there is a need for social interaction between Nishikai community and the society in order to give information about Japanese popular culture lovers community. This research purposes to know the interaction in Nishikai community’s Japanese popular culture lovers among its members and the society, Nishikai community through Ethnography perspective, and Nishikai community through assimilation perspective. Interaction in Nishikai community among its members through two stages, associative and assimilation, while the interaction with the society consists dissociative process. Method of this research is qualitative research by using purposive as sampling technique. The data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation. The author uses the social interaction processes also Dell Hymes’ ethnographic tradition and the method of phenomenological study. The result of this research found that the interaction in Nishikai community among its members and the society occur through social interaction processes that produce differences in values and norms among members and society. The author's suggestion is community’s Japanese culture lovers should increase the activities that involve the society in order to decrease negative stigma.
