Abstract
This study was a survey research. The population in this study amounted to 209 and the sample amounted to 52 students drawn randomly. This study used correlation. The results showed: 1) There is a positive and significant relationship between reading comprehension with the results of essay writing exposition. It is shown the relationship between reading comprehension with the results of essay writing exposition at 0.709 and including strong category. Based on the results of hypothesis testing shows there is a positive and significant correlation between reading comprehension with essay writing exposition results as evidenced by the value of r2 = 0.502 means that 50.2% of the exposition essay writing is influenced by the reading comprehension; 2) There is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal skills with the results of essay writing exposition. It is shown the relationship between reading comprehension with the results of essay writing exposition at 0.643 and including strong category. Based on the results of hypothesis testing shows there is a positive and significant relationship between interpersonal skills to write the essay exposition results as evidenced by the value of r2 = 0.413 means that 41.3% of the exposition essay writing is influenced by interpersonal skills; 3) There is a positive and significant relationship between reading comprehension and interpersonal skills with the results of essay writing exposition. It is shown the relationship between reading comprehension and interpersonal skills with the results of essay writing exposition of 0,756 and includes a strong category. Based on the results of hypothesis testing shows there is a positive and significant correlation between reading comprehension and interpersonal skills to write the essay exposition results as evidenced by the value of r2 = 0.572 means that 57.2% of the exposition essay writing is influenced by reading comprehension and interpersonal skills of students.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 209 dan sampel berjumlah 52 siswa yang diambil secara random.
