Abstract

Scheduling is required in allocating power operator, machine and equipment production, order processing, product type, purchase materials and so on. A good scheduling should be able to improve the utility of the resources through the minimum flow of time, the time of delivery of the goods before the due date that has been set as well as a minimum of work in process (WIP), meminimisasi number of jobs are idle, minimize the amount of work in process on the production pathways. However, the unbalanced production pathway can affect the scheduling process and hinder the production process will be much longer or more generated makespan. IKM Sandals Hotel Gems is an industry that produces Sandals hotels are booked by sharing existing hotel in Merak, Cilegon, Serang and other areas. The production process at IKM Sandals Hotel Gems have yet to pay attention to the balance of the trajectory in the production flow. The research was carried out using the method of path regions of a balancing Approach (Kilbrige – Weston) and scheduling using Campbell Dudek Smith (CDS) as well as the method of Heuristic Pour. The results of this research were obtained the best station number i.e. as 6 from the previous station is 9. As for scheduling the best sequence is obtained on the methods of Campbell Dudek Smith and Heuristic Pour is 1-3-4-2-5 with makespan value of 207.96 hours.

Penjadwalan (scheduling) diperlukan dalam mengalokasikan tenaga operator, mesin dan peralatan produksi, urutan proses, jenis produk, pembelian material dan lain sebagainya. Penjadwalan yang baik harus mampu meningkatkan utilitas sumber daya melalui minimum flow time, waktu pengiriman barang sebelum due date yang telah ditetapkan serta minimum work in process (WIP), meminimisasi jumlah pekerjaan yang idle (menganggur), memperkecil jumlah work in process pada lintasan produksi. Akan tetapi lintasan produksi yang tidak seimbang dapat mempengaruhi proses penjadwalan dan menghambat proses produksi yang akan menjadi jauh lebih lama atau makespan yang dihasilkan semakin besar. IKM Sendal Hotel Permata adalah sebuah industri yang memproduksi sandal hotel yang dipesan oleh berbagi hotel yang ada didaerah Merak, Cilegon, Serang dan daerah lainnya. Proses produksi pada IKM Sendal Hotel Permata belum memperhatikan keseimbangan lintasan dalam alur produksinya. Penelitian ini dilakukan penyeimbangan lintasan menggunakan metode Region Approach (Kilbrige–Weston) dan penjadwalan dengan menggunakan metode Campbell Dudek Smith (CDS) serta metode Heuristic Pour. Hasil penelitian ini didapat jumlah stasiun terbaik yaitu sebanyak 6 dari yang sebelumnya adalah 9 stasiun. Sedangkan untuk penjadwalan didapatkan urutan terbaik pada metode Campbell Dudek Smith dan Heuristic Pour yaitu 1-3-4-2-5 dengan nilai makespan 207,96 jam.
