Abstract
Billet Steel Plant Division PT. ABC is a company engaged in the production of the manufacture of steel billets. The problem that occurs is that a sizeable input use not in accordance with the output generated. Therefore we need a measure of efficiency for these problems. This research aims to determine the level of production efficiency in Division Billet Steel Plant PT. ABC. This study begins by determining the factors affecting the efficiency of production by using the Analytic Network Process (ANP) and then determine the level of production efficiency by using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and to determine the factors that lead to inefficient production and the proposed design improvements to increase efficiency . First step In ANP is to determine the criteria that affect the efficiency and calculate the weight by using software Superdecision useful for input values multiplied in the DEA method. While in DEA the first step is to identify the DMU then identify the inputs and outputs that affect the efficiency, then determine the appropriate DEA model and calculate the value of its efficiency by using software Win4DEAP, then determine the causes of inefficient production and designing the proposed improvements and make proposals value improvement. This study resulted in three factors that affect the level of production efficiency that is wasteful Debit Water, Natural Gas and Electricity, while the level of production efficiency resulting Billet Steel Plant Division PT. ABC amounted to 63.64%. The factors that cause inefficiencies related problem is human, methods, materials, machinery, environment and utilities. Proposed improvements to increase efficiency is to scrap elections, checking the material, making a closed storage area, making the distance between the machine and tool operation, adding coolant, conduct employee training, conduct periodic inspections, conduct periodic notifications SOP, rejuvenation machine , periodic maintenance and supervision in terms of the process

| Additional Information: | Divisi Billet Steel Plant PT. ABC adalah perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang produksi pembuatan Billet baja. Permasalahan yang terjadi adalah dimana penggunaan input yang cukup besar tidak sesuai dengan ouput yang dihasilkan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu pengukuran tentang efisiensi untuk permasalahan tersebut. Penilitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan tingkat efisiensi produksi di Divisi Billet Steel Plant PT. ABC. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan menentukan faktor yang mempengaruhi efisiensi produksi dengan menggunakan metode Analytic Network Process (ANP) lalu menentukan tingkat efisiensi produksi dengan menggunakan metode Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) lalu menentukan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan produksi tidak efisien dan usulan rancangan perbaikan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi. Dalam ANP langkah pertama yang dilakukan adalah menentukan kriteria yang mempengaruhi efisiensi lalu menghitung bobotnya dengan menggunakan software Superdecision yang berguna untuk dikalikan nilai input dalam metode DEA. Sedangkan dalam DEA langkah pertama yang dilakukan adalah mengidentifikasi DMU lalu mengidentifikasi input dan ouput yang mempengaruhi efisiensi, kemudian menentukan model DEA yang sesuai dan di hitunglah nilai efisiensinya dengan menggunakan software Win4DEAP, selanjutnya menentukan faktor penyebab produksi tidak efisien lalu merancang usulan perbaikan dan membuat usulan nilai perbaikan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat efisiensi produksi yaitu borosnya Debit Air, Gas alam dan Listrik, sedangkan tingkat efisiensi produksi yang dihasilkan Divisi Billet Steel Plant PT. ABC sebesar 63,64 %. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan menjadi tidak efisien terkait masalah adalah manusia, metode, material, mesin, lingkungan dan utilitas. Usulan perbaikan yang untuk meningkatkan efisiensi adalah melakukan pemilihan scrap, melakukan pengecekan material, membuat tempat penyimpanan yang tertutup, membuat jarak antara mesin dan alat pengoperasiannya, melakukan penambahan pendingin, melakukan pelatihan karyawan, melakukan inspeksi secara berkala, melakukan pemberitahuan SOP secara berkala, peremajaan mesin, maintenance secara berkala dan melakukan pengawasan dalam segi proses | |||||||||
