Abstract

Cilegon is one of the roueist city located in Indonesia. Based on the data of the Central Bureau of Statistics, the level of Residential Hotel rooms by 2014 as much 31.980 thousand inhabitants. Tourists visit in the town of Cilegon also increased by as much 10% by 2015, based on the data from the service of Cilegon for Culture and Tourism. Temporary residence as the residence is of interest for traveler during the holiday. One of the facilities contained on the grounds of Inn as it is slippers. Industri Kecil Menengah (IKM) Permata is the only industry that produces slippers. IKM Permata has increased the average number of booking of 34% by 2015, making it necessary to increase the amount of production. The purpose of this study, among others, knowing the highest waste that occurs in IKM Permata, designing the proposed improvements, and knowing the value of Process Cycle Efficiency (PCE). The method used in this research is Lean Manufacturing to reduce waste by using tools Process Activity Mapping and make improvements with the model simulation using Pro Model. Known from research that the highest waste IKM Permata found in the category of waste waiting, the proposed improvements done by eliminating NVA, reduce NNVA, and adds to the machine and the operator, the percentage the amount of production increased by 20% and the PCE value increased by 3%.
