Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to determine the billing and record-keeping procedures for doubtful accounts of electricity bills. Method used is descriptive method. Writing this using primary data and secondary data obtained from PT PLN (Persero) Distribution West Java and Banten Banten Area North (Unit Serang City) Method of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation collected from PT PLN (Persero) Distribution Java west and North Banten Banten Area (Unit Serang City) I obtained the results of research in the field is about billing procedures for doubtful accounts, recording procedures of the nascent receivables and accounting records for doubtful accounts at PT. PLN (Persero) and the factors that affect the incidence of doubtful accounts.

Tujuan dari penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui prosedur penagihan dan pencatatan piutang ragu-ragu rekening listrik. Metode penulisan yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Penulisan ini menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari PT.PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Barat dan Banten Area Banten Utara (Unit Serang Kota) Cara pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang dikumpulkan dari PT.PLN (Persero) Distribusi Jawa Barat dan Banten Area Banten Utara (Unit Serang Kota) Hasil penelitian yang saya peroleh dilapangan adalah mengenai prosedur penagihan piutang ragu-ragu, prosedur pencatatan dari mulai timbul piutang serta pencatatan akuntansi piutang ragu-ragu pada PT. PLN (Persero) serta faktorfaktor yang mempengaruhi timbulnya piutan ragu-ragu.
