Abstract

Keywords: Media Literacy, Campaign KPID Banten, Banten Community The research was carried out with background media literacy campaign by Bantam KPID to broadcasters and the public related to media literacy knowledge. The purpose of this study was to determine the Campaign Process Banten Love Silat regarding the planning, implementation, strength and form of visualization campaigns to broadcasters and the public. The theory used in this research is the theory of Leon Ostergaard Ostergaard campaign. This research is a qualitative descriptive type of research where the researcher simply describes a situation or event. Researchers trying to understand the flow of campaign activities undertaken KPID Banten to make broadcasters and the public become aware of the importance of media literacy. This study descriptively explain how the planning, execution and the power to target campaigns by KPID target. The data were obtained based on observations, interviews, documentation about the campaign and the sustainability of the campaign. Researchers obtained data from key informants is the originator of the campaign chairman KPID Banten and informants are supporting Broadcast Content Control Coordinator coupled with faculty observers and commentators broadcasting broadcasting phenomenon. The results of this study, namely, media literacy campaigns have been run well, but the implementation of the evaluation is not running properly, since no significant changes were demonstrated both broadcasters, public or KPID Banten as implementing campaign activities.
