Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the cost and revenue, analyze Break Even Point, and analyze the efficiency the farm of tomatoes at Suka Indah Village District of Baros – Serang. The method used in this study is a survey method. Research ares of the study is determined intentionally (purposive) at Suka Indah Village District of Baros - Serang. Results of this research showed agricultural land owned by farmer was 9,10 Ha with an average of 0,54 ha of farmer. total production cost of farmers in every production in one hectare of season Rp 16.161.464 consisting of a fixed fee of Rp 7.538.332 and variable costs Rp 8.623.132. The average production every hectare of tomato were 6.486 kg with a selling price of Rp 4.000/Kg, the farmer revenue in one hectare in every cropping season were to Rp 25.945.055. farmersincome that received were Rp 9.783.591 with an efficiency rate 1,6. BEP selling occur when selling as much 11.251.241 with BEP Production of 2.812 kg and BEP Land at 0,4 Ha. Based on these data it can be concluded that tomato farming is done by farmers in Suka Indah village already as economically efficient manner, it is indicated by the value of R/C ratio greater than 1 were 1,6.
