Abstract

Dryobalanops lanceolata tree species belongs to the Dipterocarpaceae primarily as a timber for carpentry, construction and shipbuilding. Compounds contained in D. lanceolata have been reported especially oligostilbenoid class of compounds. The purpose of this research is to isolate and identify the compounds oligostilbenoid contained in the leaves of lime wood (Dryobalanops lanceolata). This study consists of several stages, i.e. extraction stage of Dryobalanops lanceolata leaves using methanol, phase partitioning with n-hexane, ethyl acetate, butanol and water, separation of compounds by chromatography and the compound identification using spectophotometric UV, IR, iv 1 H NMR and C NMR. The compound obtained is in kpd fraction. 2.4 (32-34) with a weight of 53.5 mg, results Uv-Vis, IR, 1 H NMR and 13 C NMR showed that this compound has a carbonyl (C = O) in the chemical shift 161.7 ppm and methoxy ( -OCH ) on a chemical shift from 3.2959 to 3.4879 ppm. Based on the similarity to Stenophyllol A skeleton with a compound suspected of this compound is derived compounds of Stenophyllol A, which is where Stenophyllol A is one group of oligostilbenoid.
