Abstract
Inventory is an important asset of company that needed to be controlled in order to reach the efficiencies. The problem that often appears is unbalance of the storage stocks and its production proceed, therefore the company using technique or method as a tool to anticipate those problem as an inventory control of raw materials. The purpose of this research was to find out how efficient the inventory control of raw materials Premix at PT. Santosa Agrindo by using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method that shows the value of optimum quantities and frequencies to discern the difference of total inventory cost between the method and company’s. In the anticipation of shortage stock and to avoid back order case, then this research was also calculated safety stock as a buffer and had reorder point to find out at how many quantity company needs to order new raw materials. As an added information to support on company’s decision, this research did the forecasting to find out the trend demand of raw materials Premix using Time Series method with linear trend line. The results of this research showed that (1) demand forecast of raw materials had trend negative proven by declining of the linear line with quiate big MAD’s value. (2) For the efficiency of total inventory cost of raw materials Premix using Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, the Company could saving Premix B with the amount of Rp. 21.687.822,08 or as equal as 36% and Premix C with the amount of Rp. 9.143.043.,76 or as equal as 17%. (3) The company could added the stock as a buffer for each of Premix with the amount of 24,03 Kg for Premix A, 38,95 Kg of Premix B, and 100,21 Kg for Premix C and found the reorder point for each of Premix with the amount of 51,83 Kg for Premix A, 76,17 Kg for Premix B, and 198,5 Kg for Premix C.

| Additional Information: | Persediaan merupakan aset penting bagi perusahaan yang peranannya harus dikendalikan guna mencapai tingkat efisiensi yang baik. Permasalahan yang sering muncul dalam persediaan bahan baku adalah ketidakseimbangan stok penyimpanan bahan baku dengan tingkat produksinya, sehingga perusahaan perlu menggunakan teknik atau metode sebagai antisipasi dalam pengendalian persediaan bahan baku tersebut. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat efisiensi dari pengendalian persediaan bahan baku Premix milik PT. Santosa Agrindo dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) berdasarkan kuantitas dan frekuensi optimum yang dihasilkan untuk melihat biaya total persediannya. Dalam antisipasi kekurangan stok untuk menghindari terjadinya back order, maka penelitian ini juga menghitung persediaan pengaman sebagai persediaan penyangga dan titik pemesanan kembali untuk mengetahui pada kuantitas berapa pemesanan harus dilakukan. Sebagai tambahan informasi pendukung keputusan bagi perusahaan, penelitian ini melakukan peramalan untuk mengetahui kecenderungan permintaan bahan baku Premix menggunakan peramalan metode time series dengan teknik proyeksi tren garis linear. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peramalan permintaan bahan baku memiliki kecenderungan tren negatif dibuktikan dengan garis linear yang mengalami penurunan dengan nilai MAD yang cukup besar. Untuk tingkat efisiensi pada biaya total persediaan bahan baku Premix, dengan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ), Perusahaan dapat menghemat biaya persediaan pada bahan baku Premix B sebesar Rp 21.687.822,08 atau 36% dan Premix C sebesar Rp 9.143.043,76 atau 17%. Kemudian perusahaan dapat menambahkan persediaan penyangga pada masing-masing bahan baku Premix sebesar 24,03 Kg untuk Premix A, 38,95 Kg untuk Premix B, dan 100,21 Kg untuk Premix C dan melakukan titik pemesanan kembali pada masing-masing bahan baku Premix sebesar 51,83 Kg untuk Premix A, 76,17 Kg untuk Premix B, 198,5 Kg untuk Premix C | |||||||||
